The vertical lines on the front of the 1406 model are no accident—they're the oldest design trick we know: the rhythm of verticals visually slims and elongates any form. In practice, a vase with the same dimensions as the plain model appears slimmer and lighter with this pattern, which makes a difference in small monuments where bulky accessories overwhelm the composition.
The pattern also has a purely visual dimension: with each change in the angle of the light, the surface illuminates differently, so the vase doesn't appear flat at any time of day. The polished finish has the most striking effect, while the satin finish has a softer, more subdued tone.
The 1406 model is made of acid-resistant stainless steel—an alloy containing molybdenum found in marine equipment and surgical instruments. In practice, this means it's resistant to both winter salt and hours of standing in water after a downpour. The outline is laser-cut, and the finish is applied by hand. Granite and ceramic vases have one weakness: water that freezes inside can burst the wall. The steel body is resistant to this—frost simply doesn't harm it.
Specifics you are looking for before ordering:
You have four finishes to choose from, and each works with light differently. polished gives a mirror shine and stands out most strongly against dark granite. satin is a matte, silky finish - calmer, less prone to fingerprints and smudges. Black works well on light stone and in modern, minimalist designs. gold This is the most decorative option, often chosen for classic monuments with a warm stone tone. In either version, the stainless steel vase remains easy to clean. Keep in mind the turnaround time: polished and satin finishes leave our workshop in 3 business days, black in 7, and gold in 21.
You can attach it in two ways. The stonemason usually chooses pins: drills holes, glues in pins, and achieves a connection that is simply invisible. If you don't want to disturb the stone, it remains assembly tape — simply degrease the surface and press. Illustrated instructions are included in the package. Maintenance is limited to wiping with a cloth—no polishing or buffing every season. The corrosion warranty is 10 years. More similar solutions await in the category tombstone vases, and the elements complementing the composition can be found here: tomb lamps.
The standard dimensions of the 1406 model are 30x13 cm. We selected this format to accommodate typical Polish grave markers and, in practice, it works well for the vast majority of monuments. Need a different size? We can make custom versions—send a sketch or photo, and we'll send you a quote.
The rule is the opposite of what intuition suggests: the darker the stone, the brighter the finish. For black granite, choose polished or gold—then the detail will be visible from several meters away. For lighter stone, black is better, as it creates a distinct contour. Satin is a safe option, good for stones with a mixed texture.
The choice is yours. Pins require drilling the granite and gluing in the pins—an invisible and practically permanent fixing, usually done by a stonemason. Double-sided tape is a DIY option: a clean and dry surface, pressing for a few seconds, and the element holds. PDF instructions are included with every order.
Not to a degree that would be noticeable. The pattern is shallow and doesn't create deep grooves where dirt would settle, so a soft cloth with water is perfectly sufficient for cleaning. Just be sure to wipe in the direction of the lines, not across them—this way, the surface immediately looks even and streak-free.
